Senate State Government Committee Hearing on Voting Machines Set for Monday

HARRISBURG – The Senate State Government Committee, chaired by Sen. Cris Dush (R-25), will hold a public hearing next week on the cybersecurity of electronic voting machines and suggested principles for state statutes regarding ballot marking and vote tabulation.

Scheduled to testify at the hearing are Dr. Andrew Appel; Eugene Higgins, professor of Computer Science, Princeton University; Kevin Skoglund, chief technologist, Citizens for Better Elections; and Dr. Alec Yasinsac, (retired) Computer Science Department, University of South Alabama.
